Maruti 800 – The Family Car banned from 11 cities
Sadly its true…the 25 year old people mover,the 800 will not be sold in 11 major cities from April 2010 as a result of Maruti-Suzuki India Ltd. not upgrading the legandry 800 according to the Euro IV norms that are about to hit in April 2010.

The company’s Managing executive officer(engineering) I.V.Rao made it clear in a press conference that the company will be upgrading all its existing models according to the Euro IV emission norms except for the Maruti 800 which’ll still sport the tag BS III .
The list of cities where the 800 won’t be available from April 2010 is:
1.Mumbai
2.Kolkata
3.Delhi
4.Bangalore
5.Chennai
6.Surat
7.Kanpur
8.Hyderabad
9.Pune
10.Agra
11.Ahmedabad
